As the founder and director of Verge, I wrote and initiated a 5-year business plan, oversaw implementation of plan points, including development of a client base and accumulation of visitor, press and VIP databases in excess of 40,000 contacts. Managed budget of a $150,000 in annual revenues; managed web and social media presence and ongoing marketing messaging; solicitation of sponsor involvement and investment; hiring and management of temporary administrative and event staffs; subcontractor hires; negotiation and oversight of event venue rental and facilities; on-site event management, including management of sponsor assets. Managed press outreach and coordination for coverage in media including Artforum, The New York Times, Artnet, The Huffington Post, The Art Newspaper, The Wall Street Journal, Time Out NY, ARTINFO, Flavorpill, The Village Voice, and numerous other news media, art publications and countless blog, podcast and small press publishing outlets throughout the years.
