My self-portrait, painted at the age of 48. As a nod to the trauma that is the background logic of distortions in point perspective and plane that open up glimpses into the "eternal realm" that is a signature of my work in this period (see Moloch I, etc.), I have painted one side of my face more two-dimensionally, and the right side more three-dimensionally.
